Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paesaggio A Careggi by Telemaco Signorini was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in June 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 18,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Telemaco Signorini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Una via di Firenze (La casa di Dante da Castiglione nel mercato vecchio di Firenze), 1881 circa. in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 160,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio A Careggi von Telemaco Signorini kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 18.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Telemaco Signorini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Una via di Firenze (La casa di Dante da Castiglione nel mercato vecchio di Firenze), 1881 circa. im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 160.100,00.
