A top price for Tegene Kunbi - as previously expected
The work Sans Titre, 2017 by Tegene Kunbi was auctioned at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2021. The price achieved of MAD 41,600.00 (€ 3,932.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 33,000.00 – 55,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sans Titre, 2017 is the most expensive artwork by Tegene Kunbi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2017 von Tegene Kunbi kam im Dezember 2021 bei Artcurial in Marrakesch zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 41.600,00 (€ 3.932,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 33.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sans Titre, 2017 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tegene Kunbi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
