Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Smoke Wreathes Up by Ted Harrison was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CAD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of CAD 8,400.00 (€ 6,031.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ted Harrison have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work Game-Guide Horses was auctioned for CAD 12,000.00 (€ 9,287.32).
