A top price for Tay Bak Chiang - as previously expected
The work As One by Tay Bak Chiang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,500.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, As One is the most expensive artwork by Tay Bak Chiang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit As One von Tay Bak Chiang kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.500,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist As One das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tay Bak Chiang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
