Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tawara Yusaku could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work No.28 Enso changed hands for GBP 187.50 (€ 196.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tawara Yusaku achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bokusho (Ink Play) in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,002.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tawara Yusaku konnte im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit No.28 Enso für GBP 187,50 (€ 196,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tawara Yusaku erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bokusho (Ink Play) im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.002,96).
