It achieved a price of HKD 165,200.00 (€ 19,499.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Other works by Tao Rong have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 32,468.23) in October 2017 for the work Landscape After Wang Hui.
