Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Graffiti Art, which included the work Electric Ray I, 2007 by Tanc. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,231.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tanc - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, 2010, which sold at auction in March 2011 for EUR 8,288.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Graffiti Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Electric Ray I, 2007 von Tanc zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.231,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Tanc mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2010 beobachtet, die im März 2011 für EUR 8.288,00 versteigert wurde.
