Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Tamagawa Shucho was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2005. The price achieved of GBP 540.00 (€ 783.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tamagawa Shucho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Edo period (1615-1868), circa 1798-1804 in March last year with an auction result of USD 11,475.00 (€ 10,344.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Tamagawa Shucho kam im Juli 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 540,00 (€ 783,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tamagawa Shucho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Edo period (1615-1868), circa 1798-1804 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.475,00 (€ 10.344,36).
