Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fall, 1958 by Takeichi Hotta was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,776.35). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Takeichi Hotta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fall, 1958, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,620.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fall, 1958 von Takeichi Hotta kam im Juli 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.776,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Takeichi Hotta mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fall, 1958 beobachtet, die im September 2006 für USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.620,95) versteigert wurde.
