Upper estimate price exceeded by 67%
In February 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings and Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work Saint Agnes by Taddeo di Bartolo. The »bidding war« ended at USD 100,000 (€ 81,893), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Taddeo di Bartolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Triptych: Central Panel: The Madonna And Child With Music-Making Angels, God The Father Above Left Wing: Saint John The Baptist In A Pink Cloak, The Angel Of The Annunciation Above Right Wing: Saint Jerome In Cardinal'S Robes, The Virgin Annunciate Abov in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,889,250 (€
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Triptych: Central Panel: The Madonna And Child With Music-Making Angels, God The Father Above Left Wing: Saint John The Baptist In A Pink Cloak, The Angel Of The Annunciation Above Right Wing: Saint Jerome In Cardinal'S Robes, The Virgin Annunciate Abov im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.889.250,00 (€ 2.400.313,39).
