A top price for T.C. Cannon - as previously expected
In November 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Native American Art, which included the work "Memorial Woodblock Suite" (five works), 1977 by T.C. Cannon. It changed hands for a price of USD 24,062.50 (€ 21,318.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Memorial Woodblock Suite" (five works), 1977 is the most expensive artwork by T.C. Cannon that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Native American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Memorial Woodblock Suite" (five works), 1977 von T.C. Cannon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 24.062,50 (€ 21.318,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Memorial Woodblock Suite" (five works), 1977 das teuerste Kunstwerk von T.C. Cannon, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
