Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Konvalescens" by Sven Erixson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 105,000.00 (€ 10,019.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Sven Erixson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Målarens hus" (The artists house) in April 2014 with an auction result of SEK 900,000.00 (€ 99,733.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Konvalescens" von Sven Erixson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 105.000,00 (€ 10.019,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sven Erixson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Målarens hus" (The artists house) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 900.000,00 (€ 99.733,24).
