This work of art by Suzuki Kanji could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in September 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Japanese and Korean Art, including the Crawford Collection of Surimono auction, the work A Bronze Model Of A Giraffe changed hands for USD 1,402.00 (€ 1,211.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzuki Kanji - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Bronze Model Of A Hawk, which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 4,462.50 (€ 3,854.63).
