Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Pealing the potatoes by Suze Robertson. The price achieved of EUR 2,640.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Suze Robertson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Melk voor de poes in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 25,744.40 (€ 12,356.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pealing the potatoes von Suze Robertson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.640,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suze Robertson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Melk voor de poes im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 25.744,40 (€ 12.356,46).
