Despite a disappointment, a good price for Suzanne Treister
When the work Venus and the Revolution - Flight of a Still Life by Suzanne Treister was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,415.71). Despite this disappointing result, Venus and the Revolution - Flight of a Still Life is the most expensive artwork by Suzanne Treister that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Suzanne Treister
Als die Arbeit Venus and the Revolution - Flight of a Still Life von Suzanne Treister im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
