Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A day at the beach by Suzanne Demarest was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in September 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 812.50 (€ 939.74). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzanne Demarest - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elégante et ses enfants cueillant des fleurs, which sold at auction in January 2007 for EUR 2,160.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A day at the beach von Suzanne Demarest wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 812,50 (€ 939,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Suzanne Demarest mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elégante et ses enfants cueillant des fleurs beobachtet, die im Januar 2007 für EUR 2.160,00 versteigert wurde.
