Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2005 Christies in Sydney held the auction CONTEMPORARY ART, which included the work Diptych by Susan Norrie. The price achieved of AUD 2,987.50 (€ 1,836.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,500.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Susan Norrie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pageant I, 1987 in November 2018 with an auction result of AUD 40,260.00 (€ 35,555.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Diptych von Susan Norrie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 2.987,50 (€ 1.836,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.500,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Susan Norrie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pageant I, 1987 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 40.260,00 (€ 35.555,95).
