Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Five Gelatin Silver Prints, Circa 1965 by Suresh Sharma was auctioned at Christies in New York in June 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,120.00 (€ 2,307.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suresh Sharma - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Gelatin Silver Prints, Circa 1965, which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,325.44).

Die Arbeit Five Gelatin Silver Prints, Circa 1965 von Suresh Sharma kam im Juni 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion.
