In May 2006 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art, which included the work 4 from the series Blind bulb etc. by Sunil Gawde. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 156,000.00 (€ 15,669.29), 73% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sunil Gawde; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Alive - I sold at auction in November 2018 with the realized price of INR 2,125,000.00 (€ 26,836.97).

Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 4 from the series Blind bulb etc. von Sunil Gawde zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 156.000,00 (€ 15.669,29) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sunil Gawde; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Still Alive - I im November 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von INR 2.125.000,00 (€ 26.836,97).
