Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Cats And Birds by Sun Jusheng. The price achieved of HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,145.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sun Jusheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Hundred Cats in October last year with an auction result of HKD 216,000.00 (€ 27,679.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cats And Birds von Sun Jusheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.145,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sun Jusheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three Hundred Cats im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 216.000,00 (€ 27.679,48).
