A top price for Sui Jian Guo
This artwork by Sui Jian Guo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. In the Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Mao Suit sold for HKD 936,000.00 (€ 94,015.74) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00. This high result makes Mao Suit the most expensive artwork by Sui Jian Guo that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sui Jian Guo erzielte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Mao Suit für HKD 936.000,00 (€ 94.015,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Mao Suit zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Sui Jian Guo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
