Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seribu Bayangan by Sugiyo Dwiarso was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,268.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sugiyo Dwiarso have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work The everlasting temptation was auctioned for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,284.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seribu Bayangan von Sugiyo Dwiarso wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.268,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
