A top price for Suejin Chung - as previously expected
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Garden by Suejin Chung. The price achieved of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 41,516.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Garden is the most expensive artwork by Suejin Chung that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Garden von Suejin Chung zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 41.516,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 350.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Garden das teuerste Kunstwerk von Suejin Chung, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
