Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2003 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction SOUTHEAST ASIAN PICTURES, which included the work Two girls by Sudarso. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 32,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 33,460.00 (€ 3,709.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sudarso have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2015 the work Seated Woman With Basket was auctioned for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 6,067.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2003 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two girls von Sudarso zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 32.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 33.460,00 (€ 3.709,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Sudarso konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2015 die Arbeit Seated Woman With Basket für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 6.067,46) versteigert.
