Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Street Scene by Suchao Sisganes. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,503.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Suchao Sisganes have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2013 the work Boy And Girl With Table was auctioned for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,777.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Street Scene von Suchao Sisganes zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.503,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Suchao Sisganes konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2013 die Arbeit Boy And Girl With Table für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 17.777,08) versteigert.
