Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Human Insuli”, 1984 by Stig Weye Hansen for DKK 2,700.00 (€ 362.33). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Stig Weye Hansen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Danseren” and “Vogteren” in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,200.00 (€ 2,796.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Human Insuli”, 1984 von Stig Weye Hansen für DKK 2.700,00 (€ 362,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stig Weye Hansen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Danseren” and “Vogteren” im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.200,00 (€ 2.796,71).
