Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Steven Meisel could be acquired at Il Ponte in July 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fotografia auction, the work Campagna Byblos 1987 changed hands for EUR 100.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 150.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Steven Meisel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CK One, New York City in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,136.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Steven Meisel konnte im Juli 2020 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fotografia wechselte die Arbeit Campagna Byblos 1987 für EUR 100,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Steven Meisel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CK One, New York City im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 85.136,16).
