This artwork by Steven Meisel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2018. In the Audrey Hepburn: The Personal Collection, Part III auction, the work Audrey Hepburn, Vanity Fair, May 1991 sold for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,828.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Steven Meisel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CK One, New York City in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,136.16).
