Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Steve Sabella could be acquired at Christies in Dubai in April 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II auction, the work Cécile Elise Sabella changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,889.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Steve Sabella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beyond Euphoria in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,540.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Steve Sabella konnte im April 2012 bei Christies in Dubai für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II wechselte die Arbeit Cécile Elise Sabella für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.889,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Steve Sabella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Beyond Euphoria im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.540,52).
