In March 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, which included the work Splendor in the Grass by Stevan Kocic. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,000.00 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stevan Kocic - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work One Flew Over The Cuckoo'S Nest, which sold at auction in March 2013 for EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im März 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Splendor in the Grass von Stevan Kocic zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.000,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Stevan Kocic mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit One Flew Over The Cuckoo'S Nest beobachtet, die im März 2013 für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert wurde.
