Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Stephen Wilks was auctioned at Christies in Paris in December 2006. The price achieved of EUR 240.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stephen Wilks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British donkey Roundabout in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 80,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Stephen Wilks kam im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 240,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stephen Wilks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British donkey Roundabout im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 80.000,00.
