Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Forest Gathering by Stephen Bagnell for USD 191.25 (€ 175.91). This price was achieved in the auction DiscoveryInteriors | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephen Bagnell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Nude Near Vase, which sold at auction in March this year for USD 765.00 (€ 703.64).
