Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stephan Sinding could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Girl with outstretched arms changed hands for USD 562.50 (€ 407.82) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stephan Sinding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Norwegian Ett Bronsmonument Över Ibsen (Sketch For A Monument To Henrik Ibsen) in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,133.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Girl with outstretched arms für USD 562,50 (€ 407,82) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stephan Sinding erzielen.
