A top price for Stephanos Daskalakis - as previously expected
The work Greek Still Life by Stephanos Daskalakis was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 13,700.00 (€ 17,465.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Still Life is the most expensive artwork by Stephanos Daskalakis that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Greek Still Life von Stephanos Daskalakis kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.700,00 (€ 17.465,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Greek Still Life das teuerste Kunstwerk von Stephanos Daskalakis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
