Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Michaelmas daisies, marigolds, snapdragons, auriculas, crysanthemums and other summer flowers in a vase by Stephanie Trauttweiller for GBP 188.00 (€ 244.95). This price was achieved in the auction At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stephanie Trauttweiller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poppies in a green vase in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,649.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Michaelmas daisies, marigolds, snapdragons, auriculas, crysanthemums and other summer flowers in a vase von Stephanie Trauttweiller für GBP 188,00 (€ 244,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stephanie Trauttweiller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poppies in a green vase im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.649,39).
