Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Athlete II by Stella Shawzin was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 8,287.50 (€ 9,654.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stella Shawzin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two balancing figures in September 2021 with an auction result of GBP 112,750.00 (€ 131,186.19).

Die Arbeit Athlete II von Stella Shawzin kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.287,50 (€ 9.654,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stella Shawzin erzielen.
