Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work L'Odeon d' Hérode Atticus by Stefanos Lanza. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,295.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stefanos Lanza - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek the Acropolis, which sold at auction in May 2014 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,449.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Odeon d' Hérode Atticus von Stefanos Lanza zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.295,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Stefanos Lanza mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek the Acropolis beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.449,60) versteigert wurde.
