In January 2008 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work On the balcony by Stefano Novo. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,405.43), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stefano Novo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un Mela, per favore, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 47,500.00 (€ 37,454.66).

Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the balcony von Stefano Novo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.405,43) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Stefano Novo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Un Mela, per favore beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für USD 47.500,00 (€ 37.454,66) versteigert wurde.
