A top price for Spyridon Prosalentis - as previously expected
In May 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Portrait Of Kalidona Tricoupis by Spyridon Prosalentis. The price achieved of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,509.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait Of Kalidona Tricoupis is the most expensive artwork by Spyridon Prosalentis that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Kalidona Tricoupis von Spyridon Prosalentis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.509,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Portrait Of Kalidona Tricoupis das teuerste Kunstwerk von Spyridon Prosalentis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
