A top price for Spyridon Prosalentis - as previously expected
In May 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Portrait Of Kalidona Tricoupis by Spyridon Prosalentis. The price achieved of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,509.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait Of Kalidona Tricoupis is the most expensive artwork by Spyridon Prosalentis that we have observed at auctions so far.
