A top price for Song Dazhang
When the work Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script by Song Dazhang was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2020, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 5,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at HKD 15,300.00 (€ 1,613.82). This high result makes Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script the most expensive artwork by Song Dazhang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script von Song Dazhang im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
