Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES, which included the work A Stormy Day by Sokrat Maksimovich Vorob'ev. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,585.00 (€ 5,157.00), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sokrat Maksimovich Vorob'ev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of the entrance to Saviour-Andronikov Monastery, Moscow, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,103.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion RUSSIAN PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Stormy Day von Sokrat Maksimovich Vorob'ev zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.585,00 (€ 5.157,00) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sokrat Maksimovich Vorob'ev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View of the entrance to Saviour-Andronikov Monastery, Moscow beobachtet, die im November 2005 für GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.103,61) versteigert wurde.
