A top price for Sofía Bassi - as previously expected
In March last year Sothebys in London held the auction (Women) Artists, which included the work Al atardecer (At dawn) by Sofía Bassi. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,938.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Al atardecer (At dawn) is the most expensive artwork by Sofía Bassi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion (Women) Artists durch, in der auch die Arbeit Al atardecer (At dawn) von Sofía Bassi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.938,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Al atardecer (At dawn) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sofía Bassi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
