Each leaf inscribed and signed, with a total fourteen seals
Each leaf accompanied by calligraphy by Li Fuhong (1902-1990) with a total of nineteen seals

Sold at the upper estimate price
In February 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Fishing Villages by Situ Qi. The auction ended at the price of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,197.72), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Situ Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cotton Tree Blossoms in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 178,040.60).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing Villages von Situ Qi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.197,72) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Situ Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cotton Tree Blossoms im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 178.040,60).
