A top price for Situ Qi
The work Cotton Tree Blossoms by Situ Qi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 178,040.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. With this result, Cotton Tree Blossoms is even the most expensive work of art by Situ Qi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Cotton Tree Blossoms von Situ Qi kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 178.040,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Cotton Tree Blossoms sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Situ Qi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
