A top price for Siriki Ky - as previously expected
In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction African Contemporary Art, which included the work Le Naaba, 2019 by Siriki Ky. The price achieved of EUR 11,180.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Le Naaba, 2019 is the most expensive artwork by Siriki Ky that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion African Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Naaba, 2019 von Siriki Ky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.180,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 9.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Le Naaba, 2019 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Siriki Ky, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
