This price was achieved in the auction Making a MarkA Fundraising Sale for the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Quentin Blake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand High Witch in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,242.70).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Making a MarkA Fundraising Sale for the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
