Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Almost home by Herbert Hughes-Stanton for GBP 375.00 (€ 490.49). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Herbert Hughes-Stanton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Near Montreuil in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,194.28).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Almost home von Herbert Hughes-Stanton für GBP 375,00 (€ 490,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00.
