In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Eztergom, Grand Dome, Hungary (illustrated); Rome; Isaak Church and the Admiralty, St. Petersburg; Stockholm; and Rome changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,580.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Despite this disappointing result, Eztergom, Grand Dome, Hungary (illustrated); Rome; Isaak Church and the Admiralty, St. Petersburg; Stockholm; and Rome is the most expensive artwork by George Frederick John Hodson that we have observed at auction so far.
