In April 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A Street Corner, Montmartre by Sine MacKinnon. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,274.86) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Sine MacKinnon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Boutique Jaune in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,972.09).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Street Corner, Montmartre von Sine MacKinnon zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.274,86) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sine MacKinnon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Boutique Jaune im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.972,09).
