A top price for Simos Karafyllis
In February 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Cello by Simos Karafyllis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,940.29), 63% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Cello the most expensive artwork by Simos Karafyllis that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Februar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cello von Simos Karafyllis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.940,29) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Cello zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Simos Karafyllis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
